I’m almost done! As an addition to the essential and most used cards 2-10, Jack, Queen, King and Aces, I’ve also decided to add a Joker. This card is not necessary at all for most games, but just to make it feel more complete, I couldn’t go without. With the Joker being done, all cards are complete now and ready for printing. Finally :)

which program do you use to convert/draw the pencil sketches?
i can´t do it with any program i know…

thanks! you can’t just convert a sketch to a full illustration with a push of a button or let the computer redraw the lines itself. at least the result would not be satisfying at all. so the best way is to redo everything from scratch with your mouse / tablet and just use the sketch as a basic template. this can be done with almost any software you like. a good way is to scan the draft, adjust brightness and contrast to reduce it to the basic outlines and then draw “on top” of it to keep proportions.
i know, but the programs i use (corel draw etc.) never get the lines so fluently
there´s always some corners or … ach, auf deutsch: also, ich nutze corel draw, weil das mit meinem tablet gut läuft. aber die formerkennung (begradigung der gezeichneten linie) gibt nie so gut aussehende ergebnisse. mir ist klar, das kein (erschwingliches) program so was selbst nachzeichnen kann. aber deine zeichnungen sind doch von der software begradigt oder nicht? :O

so – hat nen bisschen länger gedauert, bis ich antworten kann :)
bei motiven mit relativ dicken outlines (wie du sie z.b. hier bei einigen illustrationen siehst) bringt es nicht viel, das ganze wirklich zu “zeichnen”. du kommst besser zurecht, wenn du direkt mit der maus und den diversen “pfadwerkzeugen”, die z.b. corel bietet, arbeitest.
abgesehen davon müsstest du eigentlich auch einstellen können, inwieweit deine striche mit dem tablet begradigt bzw. geglättet werden. aber selbst mit den richtigen einstellungen denke ich nicht, dass du da wirklich absolut scharfe outlines ohne kanten bekommst. zumindest nicht ohne selber noch nacharbeiten zu müssen.
wie gesagt, es sind ja auch alles keine zeichnungen mit vielen details, schattierungen, usw. – von daher ist ein tablet dabei nicht unbedingt die erste wahl, so etwas umzusetzen.
