Card Deck

The naioo Card Deck is finished and has been printed in a first, limited edition of 15 copies. The first games have already been played and in summary everything turned out as intended :)

The goal was to create a unique, nicely illustrated card deck differing from the boring design of traditional cards.

Moreover, it was very important to me, that besides deviating from usual cards on the one hand, players should still be able to fast and easily recognize each card as what it is on the other hand. So the intention behind creating this card deck wasn’t to create something you could just look at, it is meant to be something you can actually play and have fun with.

Every card has it’s unique characteristics, no two cards are the same, still the most important things like colors, numbers and symbols are consistent throughout the deck.

Card Deck Update #4 – Joker

I’m almost done! As an addition to the essential and most used cards 2-10, Jack, Queen, King and Aces, I’ve also decided to add a Joker. This card is not necessary at all for most games, but just to make it feel more complete, I couldn’t go without. With the Joker being done, all cards are complete now and ready for printing. Finally :)
