I really don’t know if this will be the final layouts. Unfortunately I tend to revise everything over and over again until I’m really satisfied. Anyway, at least for now I’m quite confident that these cards are getting close to the final layouts.

Luckily my hosting company provides a free SSL-Proxy, so adding custom content to Facebook pages without third-party applications was no big issue at all. (They require you to provide a secure URL to any custom app, otherwise the content won’t be displayed).

Meanwhile I also continued working on my Card Deck, finalized the “King” (more details, some color changes) and started working on the “Queen”-card, which will hopefully be finished by the end of the week.

I recently ordered one of those StickerBooks over at moo.com. Read on for details…

The StickerBook itself is of great quality. The first sheet comes with some stickers from moo.com as you can see on the image above. Behind are 15 sheets with 6 stickers each, which makes a total of 90 stickers. Best of all is, that you could upload 90 different designs at a time and get a StickerBook with 90 different stickers. They call that “Printfinity” or something… That’s quite cool as I haven’t seen any other service that allows you to print that way – for a great price (and a small print run).

When you place your order, you can customize the packaging, choose a different color and things like that.

All stickers have a glossy finish. I’ve created 6 different designs – I probably should have put a bit more time and effort into it and make make some more, but as I justed wanted to test it out, it’s all fine.

I will definitely make some more layouts in the near future. They are great to give away to friends or just to tag something.

So what’s up here? I finally did a little further work on the blog template, like adding Google Webfonts to style the headlines (“Droid Sans” is really nice) and a Captcha to fill out before leaving comments. The massive amount of spam everyday is more than annoying. Some other small tweaks here and there. Still need to add a searchfield, finish the footer layout and so on.

There’s also a first version of the Aqua Smiley Generator (v0.4) available, which allows you to extend the Aqua Smileyset with your own creations.

Of course, there’s a lot more. After sorting everything and moving the crap out, I’ll put up a kind of online archive / gallery where you can browse all that old stuff.
